My name is Abby Stancil. I’m a photographer in the North Georgia area. I am in love with: the sound of rain, chocolate from sweden, music, God, my husband Philip, and my son Caeden. I find beauty in the current condition of anything… broken, whole, perfect, imperfect. Everything and everyone has a story and to be able to capture the moment, in it’s current condition, in its story, is what I live for. Whether the moment is first steps, new commitments, renewing of old commitments, or just everyday life, I find passion in being able to stop what the marching of time sweeps away too quickly.
Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. Psalms 37:24
I married into Abby’s passion for photography, and have since found a love for it of my own. Making sure the lighting complements the people in front of my camera, and then capturing those people in candid moments are some of the most exciting aspects of what I do. When I’m not doing that, you’ll find me lifting heavy things for Abby and trying hard to keep Caeden out of the spotlight during a shoot.
P.S. I specialize in creating moving pictures that can make sounds and all sorts of things, and would love to talk with you about creating a film of your next exciting event!
Jesus wept. John 11:35
I am a mother of four amazing children, Mimi of two beautiful grandbabies, and married to my hubby for 26 years. Growing up I thought I would be an art teacher or a nurse. I’ve become the latter, but I use my free moments to create. I’ve always loved colors, fabrics, paint and I guess I consider these my scattered creative mind’s playground. I’m excited to be part of Abby’s team. Her feel for life’s memorable moments, captured still in a frame, are what drives her to be a great photographer. Her ideas and passion encourage my creativity and I can’t wait to play. You can find a glimpse of my life’s quiet moments at Blue Cotton Sky. Let’s be part of this journey called life together!
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1
I’m Caeden. I’m the glue that holds things together here at Abby Stancil Photography. I manage the day-to-day operations and try to keep the team members on the straight and narrow. They make me earn every penny I make. When I’m not managing my parents, I can be found at the local puddle, thoroughly destroying whatever outfit my mama deemed ‘cute’ that day. They think they run things, but you and I know better. TTYL.
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
